tica fishing rods
10ft rod for shark fishing?

do you think i could land a decent shark from the beach with an ok 10ft rod or should i spend 175$ for a nice tica 11ft surf rod?

You can land a decent shark on a 5’6″ rod, length has nothing to do with power. The reason rods are longer, are to give you longer casts. I believe the 10′ rod will do fine. Buy the best rod you can afford. Lamiglas makes some very nice surf rods.
