surf-fishing help! i need info?

this weekend i am going to assateague islandin maryland. I borrowed a surf-fishing rod and tackle but i have never surf-fished from the shire before. i will appreciate any help.

i would use bunker chunks or clams on a fishfinder rig. this year it is looking like one of the best striper and black drum runs ai has seen in a while.even if you dont catch and good fish trash fish like skates and dogfish and i’ve even heard sand tiger sharks are showing up, the trash fish will keep you busy. for bait stop at harbor tackle at the cross of golf course rd and sunset road they will set you up with everything you need
