fishing in deep saltwater with spinning reel rod?
I fish on a pier with deep water 50ft +. My problem is that i cant feel when my line reaches the bottom. is there a way i can tell? To me my rod is useless when it comes to deeo waters cuz i cant feel when it hit bottom.
If you have enough weight you should be able to tell when your line goes slack. Reel it up until you feel the weight. Also you might want to try using braid like fire line. It is more sensitive. Hope this helps.
