pike fishing question………?

what is a great low price river pike set up and i have an old spare 2.5 test curv carp rod, is that ok for pike fishing. (have a low budget).

That will be fine , just be careful when playing smaller pike asthe test poundage is really for bigger fish but just be gentle and give them some time to tire, also try some 10lb monofil this will stretch so your rod won’t bump the fish so much.
You can get some great pike gear @ car booties real cheap lures , rods, lines etc tight lines!!!!
