New Zealand Fishing

What would be the reasonable price for a fish and chips in New Zealand?
I found the price varies between places. A piece of fish costs more than $2.00 and a scoop of chips costs the same in some places. And I know some shops are still selling a fish and chips $1.60 each. I know it would vary in the qualitiy or the localation. How much would you be willing to pay for a fish and chips?
I can get a good piece of fish for $1.80 and a decent serving of chips for $1.
Go to the fish and chip shops and not those fast food outlets.
The chippie will often offer choices of fish such as blue or red cod.
