Where to buy Kampachi in Ontario.?
I’m very interested in eating Kampachi because it is amazingly healthy and I’m told it tastes great as well. The best supplier I found was Kona Blue’s Kampachi, unfortunately they do not ship international yet. I would prefer Kampachi from Kona Blue because their process is sustainable and well recognized but any well raised and healthy Kampachi will do for me. The fish must be below the acceptable limits of the following; PCBs, dioxins, mercury, lead and other common contaminants found in fish. Thank you.
I would much rather prefer hiramasa over hamachi but kampachi is what I am looking for.
It is unique with a crisp texture and a cleaner taste. I am also greatly interested because of the great health benefits it provides – it is very rich in omega 3′s.
Also Kona Kampachi is known to have no traceable amounts of mercury in it, so unlimited consumption is possible.
You’d have a much easier time getting some amazing sushi grade hamachi, which is not only easier to find but more affordable and almost similar in flavor and texture.
