Smaller tube question?
I read the catalog of an e-shop, and I see that the tubes are available in all lower dimensions of 2 3 / 4 inches to 4 1 / 2 inches. What size tube and jig is used to guide the big mouth? I'm from Texas and just looking to get into the tubes fishing, but do not know how to start
If your goal largemouth bass in Texas, I suggest you start with (at least) 4 "tube with a solid head. (I use a 4.5 "just because you have a 4-5/0 EWG hook and a good low profile large extend. The only time you reduce the size of my tube is when I target smallmouth.) Why is the head sound? They began to make heads sound tubes because people were below the fish with top tubes due to normal socket hook misaligned compensation during the strike. Therefore, it is very important for sound operation of the tube, if you intend platform that Texas style (some call it "Florida's flawed"). Understand, you can use a tube pan with solid heads, too. I found the fishing hook is best tube Gamakatsu, Gap Go – do not cause the tube to pack almost as much as a normal movement of fish hook causing failure. Here are some suggestions for the tubes.
