Have any Garage Sale tips?
Need money for a trip so I am throwing a garage sale this weekend.
What do you think I should price everything?
I have lots and lots of clothes. Toys, porcelain dolls, books, frames, shoes, bird cages, small fish aquarium, a bass that nobs don’t work, and some old magazines.
Also do you think it is better to hang up your clothes? If so, what do I hang them up on?
Any other tips would be great! Thanks!
basic set up…
“street signs” -use arrows to point potenial buyers, do not put down your address
put “attention getters”, something to attract people, close to the road and slow them down
take your clothes to Goodwill
put items on tables get them off the ground, do not leave multiple pieces in boxes
categorize items
go a bit high on prices, they will group pieces or ask you to go lower
go to the Discover side of Yahoo Answers search Yard sales or Garage sales
